Candle Trees are Glorious This Pandemic Year

Every year Paul and I go to Archie's Gardenland in Fort Worth to pick up our candle trees. https://www.archiesgardenland.com/    We usually stop for lunch after at our favorite Italian restaurant but this year was different.  Donned with our PPE, we quickly entered Archies and quickly left.   We bought several trees and gave some to our friends and family.  

During the pandemic I worked from home and was able to watch our trees grow outside my window.  Our neighbor let me grow one tree over his lawn and it turned out to be the biggest tree we ever grew.   I am so thankful for these beautiful trees.  They add such a magnificent, majestic, tropical feeling to our pathway and around the pool.   I am also so happy when our neighbors stop to admire the flowers along our pathway and grateful we were able to give them this beautiful gift to enjoy..
