This year I grew the most incredible paperwhites but the best part was sharing them with my sister-in-law Debbie who was visiting from Scottsdale. She enjoyed taking pictures of the different stages the flowers were in as much as I did. I got them planted late this year so they did not go into a full bloom until after they went back home but here are some of the pictures we took. Miss you Deb !! Enjoy the flowers and hope they will remind you of your Christmas here with us this year. We loved having you.

I promised Marcie that I would post a picture of my paperwhites from last Christmas. However, this year the time has totally gotten away from me and I just got them started lat week. To make this arrangement, I start with a shallow glass bowl and fill it with red gems. Next I placed about 13 paperwhites into the gems and fill the bowl with water to the top of the bulb. I place the bowl in a warm place for 2 weeks and then move it to our living room. As the stalks get taller I tie them with a Christmas ribbon, otherwise the weight of the flowers topple them over. It also looks very festive with the ribbon. Enjoy. Hope you can can get them started for this holiday season.
