This year I put an amaryllis bulb in the middle of my paperwhite bulb arrangement. All the paperwhite bulbs bloomed first. I cut off the tops of the paperwhites and left the leaves in the bowl as a backdrop to the amaryllis bulb. It turned out really pretty.

Each time I watch a bulb bloom …..I am so amazed.
This amaryllis bulb bloomed late this year but gave us such a nice burst of color in our front hallway when everything else outside was dormant.

Every year I force paper whites during the Thanksgiving weekend so I have a bouquet of fragrant winter beauties blooming in time for the Christmas holiday.
The bud is exquisite and a true miracle in itself. It is simply amazing to me how any bulb can produce a flower.

We were all surprised in Big D when it snowed on Christmas Eve!!!
