Why has it been so cloudy and cold here in Dallas this year. It has been the longest winter ever. The sun finally came out today and gave my bulbs some warmth so they could finally pop their heads through the soil. Thank goodness. Happy Spring !!

Today it is cold and windy and the sun is all covered up by a gray, cloudy sky. I have lost 14 pounds on my diet but I can’t stop thinking about wanting to have some cookies, a large bowl of ice cream and a package of M&M’s.

Today I walked out into the garden and saw my gardenia bush blooming. Oh my gosh, I only waited two years for it to bloom. As I waited for this gardenia to bloom so do you wait for your children to bloom. Here is Jennifer’s latest bloom:
