Marigolds for Mom

Mom's favorite flowers to plant in the yard were marigolds.  She would start marigold seeds each winter in the basement during the winter under her plant lights.  Each spring she filled the yard with marigolds, zinnias and dahlias.   In her memory two very special friends in Chicago planted a marigold garden for her and shared pictures with me in Texas this summer.  What a lovely tribute to her memory.   I am so glad our friends enjoyed these flowers as much as she did.   I know she was smiling down from heaven.  Thank you for remembering Mom in this special way.
