More Birds Today

Tonight I got home from work when it was still light out, what a treat that was after the long dark winter months. I went out to take a walk in the garden and looked up into the tree. Our friend from yesterday invited many more to join at P&B Garden.

First Sign of Spring at PB Garden

Today I got to capture the first sign of spring with my new camera. This robin red breast was sitting at the very top of our tree signing a lovely song and I zoomed in for this shot. Thank you again for my new camera, Paul, Brian and Jennifer, I love it.

Camellia Buds Ready to Burst into Bloom

Our Red Kramer Camellia is full of buds. Red camellias are a symbol of wealth and so they are rightly grown in P&B's Garden. Some history I found on Monrovia's website lists that camellias represent longevity and faithfulness and have long been a primary floral component in Asian weddings.

Sweet Winter Paperwhites Ring in a Happy New Year !!

Every year I force paper whites during the Thanksgiving weekend so I have a bouquet of fragrant winter beauties blooming in time for the Christmas holiday.
