After six years of yard projects I wanted Paul to be able to just play/watch golf and lay on his float with me in the pool......but instead of golf gloves, Paul's work gloves had to came out of retirement.

Found this great idea for re-purposing wine bottles, right up our grapevine !! Good alternative for me since my pot sprinklers are still out of commission.

Trumpets in Bloom

Trumpet Vines are very invasive and need to be kept under control but they are well worth the extra work as the view from the kitchen window is so cheery in the springtime. Lots of bees !!

A Sunny Yellow Wednesday

When I got home from work I found yellow mums and yarrow blooming in the front garden. Yellow is such a sunny color and always makes me happy. Mums are a great perennial and bloom in spring and fall. My yarrow does not always bloom each spring but when it does it was worth the wait.

8th Annual White Rock East Garden & Artisans Tour

I am so sorry we missed the last 7 years of this event because were pleasantly surprised this weekend when we attended the 8th Annual White Rock East Garden Tour in Dallas in a quaint neighborhood called Little Forest Hills.
