Earlier this year, I received several lily bulbs from a wonderful person that I have the privilege to know and work with. I planted the bulbs at the entrance to my shade garden, which gets a good amount of sun.

This Memorial Day weekend we celebrate ten years at 2537 and it is so hard to believe that much time has gone by. When I look around, I sometimes take for granted or forget about all the hard, sweaty work that went into each project.

This beautiful grouping of roses and irises greeted me when I turned into the driveway tonight. What a beautiful spring day and so good to be home.

It was so great to be outside today puttering in the garden. I was surprised to see that my hyacinth had already popped up. Welcome Spring 2013 !

Brian visited a rose garden, Parque del Rosedal at Plaza Holanda in Buenos Aires, Argentina and took a few pictures for me.

It's January. After the Christmas stuff is put away it is a pretty long, gray, boring month. We leave for work in the dark in the morning and come home in the dark at night.

Happy New Year ! December was so busy that I did not have any time to post pictures on my website, so I am glad to be back in my routine. Each year I force various varieties of amaryllis and paperwhite bulbs in water.
