It's 10 o'clock PM and time to go to bed. I have again run out of time to do all the things I want to do. But I so enjoyed the day and every moment of "running against the wind".

Last year we planted our first Candle Tree. It is an annual for our zone, so we dug it up and bought a new one this spring. We had such a mild winter that it reseeded itself and made 7 more Candle Trees on the other side of the pathway.

Brian and Jennifer went to Costa Rica this year and brought us back the perfect gift. A handmade sign for our garden which describes it perfectly. "P&B Garden - Pura Vida" . Pura Vida means "Pure Life" in the country of Costa Rica.

Last October, Paul and I were shopping at Archie's Gardenland. All throughout the store, they had these giant caladiums. We bought several pots and thought they would be the perfect solution to adding some height in the garden.

Did you hear?? I Live In Dallas won "Best of Big D Reader's Choice" for Best Blog in Dallas. Congratulations to Jennifer and Neil !! What an accomplishment.

Update from P&B's Garden Brian and Jennifer are on vacation in Costa Rica this week. Me and Paul ..... just hanging out. Looking forward to this weekend when we celebrate Rachael's 29th birthday !!
