Conservatory In the Making

Ever since we moved into our house, Paul has envisioned a conservatory off the back porch area. This year, we came closer to that vision when Paul invented a temporary room to store our plants this winter instead of the garage. Now, I just love to go out to see my plants in bloom after work.

A Perfect Weekend

I love to spend time with Brian. This weekend I enjoyed watching him work on all the arrangements for their trip to Antigua Guatemala. Amazing.  He and Jennifer are going to have such a great time. While they are gone, I will sit in the garden and enjoy all the flowers of fall.

We had a wonderful day with special friends for brunch. Then it was time for sports. Cowboys and Rangers both winners today. I am so glad that Brian is home and we got to be all together tonight with Jennifer.

We are So Tired of Watering

The Dallas Morning News reports 100 plus degrees through Sunday. While most everything else is rather crispy around the edges, the "Pride of Barbados" is one of our tropical flowers that is holding its own.
